Skill learnt- We learnt how to shoot by practicing in a game. Everyone had a turn as goal shooter which ensured that everyone had the opportunity to practice the skill. It is a very important skill because it is the only way to win the game.
Technique- We were taught to take our time when shooting and aim carefully, while also taking into account the movement of the opposing player who is trying to block your shot. Ensure you keep both your feet on the ground when shooting as you may be penalised for commiting a foul if you move. If you need to get a lot of power on your shot you need to bend your arms and spring the ball out from your body for maximum power.
Tactic- This skill is essential for at least one team member to have because it is the way to win a game. If you score more points than the other team you win and so you need to be able to have this skill if you are an attacking player.
I enjoyed shooting as it is the funnest part of the game, even though I struggled to score and need more practice. I was able shoot with power but I lacked the accuracy required which was my main weakness.
